Jessica moved to NYC’s Tribeca neighborhood six years ago after extensively traveling throughout the United States plus abroad and has since lived in many other parts of Manhattan such as Murray Hill, the East village and currently Midtown West. Being from Erie, a small town in Pennsylvania, it was a goal for Jessica to explore the world before settling down in the best city in the world – NYC.

She then started her career in clothing design at several different companies in the garment district, working as a liaison between the designers and overseas factories. Customer service, efficiency, meticulous attention to detail and price negotiations were an integral part of her job which makes her a tremendous asset to all of her clients today.

In 2003, while working in the textile business, she met her husband through another broker friend at Kurland. The last name says it all. She married Kevin Kurland, founder and president of Kurland Realty. She jokes that for the past 6 years she’s been in “real estate boot camp”, being married to someone who lives and breathes the business. Her husband’s enthusiasm and love for real estate quickly rubbed off on her and she soon followed suit getting her license and becoming one of Kurland’s top producers.

Jessica is also a mother, who in her free time, is active in many charities and fund raising events including the NYC multiple sclerosis chapter, and children’s cancer research. She enjoys running, writing short stories and traveling.
