As a true New Yorker Karen was born and raised on Long Island and now currently lives in beautiful Astoria. Karen has always been driven to break the mold and succeed. Throughout her life she has always been very active in the arts (theatre, dance, and film) and constantly wanted to learn and master new skills. The things she learned in the arts helped her to become very independent and hard working. Karen has very strong managing skill which has allowed her to work in Broadway Theaters and run a lovely store in the heart of SoHo New York. As Director of Operations, Karen wears many hats, including records management, marketing management, and office management. Primarily, her efforts ensure efficiency of all Kurland transactions, always trying to optimize use of resources and streamlining all processes.
